I am definitely still exploring the ways I can use blogging. I know I want to have a blog at some point in the year that my students can use as a part of our classroom. I want them to be able to communicate with one another and with me to help enhance what they are learning in my class.
However, I am also wondering if it wouldn't be beneficial to have a blog for my parents to communicate with me and each other. I also wonder if it wouldn't be a good tool to establish within our department to help with planning, etc.

I lived overseas for a while and now live several States away from my family. Both of my sisters have blogs and it has been a great way to keep updated on the things going on in their lives. I have one niece and I love that they post pictures of her and write little fun stories about things that happen in her life. I think it's another great way to stay in each others lives.
